The Airbus A321neo flight, identified as 6E762, touched down at 0753 GMT following a full emergency declaration at the airport, according to airport officials. Security agencies conducted checks on the aircraft and passengers, clearing it for operations after determining the threat was non-specific.
A security threat was noticed onboard IndiGo flight 6E762 operating from Mumbai to Delhi on September 30, 2025, an IndiGo spokesperson said in a statement. The airline informed relevant authorities as per protocol and cooperated fully with security personnel.
The threat was reported during the flight's approach to Delhi, prompting heightened measures at the airport, airport officials said. No injuries were reported, and passengers were provided refreshments during the checks.
IndiGo prioritised passenger safety and issued updates throughout the process, the spokesperson added. Authorities did not immediately disclose the source of the threat.
